I never thought I’d have a favorite storage facility, but after almost four years at Gilbert Rd Self Storage, apparently I’m that person now.
The owners are absolutely wonderful. They run the place with genuine care, take pride in what they do, and treat you like a person—not just a unit number and a monthly payment. Just genuinely good people running a genuinely great business. Whatever the opposite of “corporate customer service purgatory” is, this is it.
The property is consistently clean, well maintained, and feels safe and secure. Getting in, getting to your unit, and getting back out is easy. When you’re moving boxes in the Arizona heat and questioning every possession you’ve ever purchased, the last thing you need is a difficult storage situation. They make that part effortless.
Honestly, I wish I had more stuff to store. I’m dangerously close to buying furniture I don’t need just to maintain this relationship.
Nearly four years is plenty of time to find something to complain about, and all I’ve got is that these people have set an unreasonable standard for every storage facility I use from now on. Cannot recommend Gilbert Rd Self Storage—and especially the owners—highly enough.“
